We were lucky enough to have the very talented Mark Thirlwall on our organising team and boy can that cat take a mean looking photo!

We also had Darren Toogood from Bright Wight Images snapping away on the night!

Well that was fun!

What a laugh! The very first Isle of Wight Twestival is over, with over £1300 raised for Gift to Nature.

Gift to Nature beeSome pledges are still coming in and it’s not too late to donate using our handy Paypal button (on the right), so we expect this total to rise!

Many, many thanks to our generous sponsors, artists and of course the Twestival crowd.

Look out for another event soon!

Who is The Leek Rabbit?

At tonight’s Twestival there is an extraordinary, unprecedented chance to bid for Son of Leek Rabbit in our massive charity auction.

Bizarrely it seems that there are some who don’t appreciate the significance, and sinister implications, of this. For your own safety it would be best if you acquainted yourself with his infamous progenitor…

Richard Quigley: our compère

Richard Quigley

Richard Quigley

Our compère, Richard Quigley, is hosting the comedy at Bestival and Twestival on the same weekend! We truly have secured the main man of comedy on the Isle of Wight.

MP spares no expense!

The Island’s MP, Andrew Turner, is getting the Twestival spirit! He has generously donated a bottle of House of Commons Blended Scotch Whisky for the Twestival auction. The blurb on the natty presentation box states:

The House of Commons Blended Scotch Whisky is fruity and mellow with a hint of spice. Matured, selected and blended by Gordon and McPhail of Elgin, Scotland -  a family owned and run company with more than one hundred years of experience in creating and bottling the finest Scotch whiskies.

At 40% vol it should have you rolling in the aisles! Thanks Mr Turner.
